The Bulldogs couldn’t muster enough hits at the plate this week, dropping their two games to Raymond Central and Beatrice, scoring one run in each game. Auburn’s Tuesday, April 2 game against Falls City was postponed due to weather conditions and will be played on Thursday, April 11.
Auburn senior Maverick Binder has been selected alongside some of the premier football players in Nebraska to play in the 66th Nebraska Shrine Bowl. Binder will be a member of the South Team during the bowl game on Saturday, June 1 at the University of Nebraska-Kearney.

Four Bulldog girls return from state qualifying seasons last year, including sophomore Addison Darnell, who placed earned a medal last season with a third place finish in the 300 meter high hurdles. Senior Mackenzie Stanley, junior Kristen Billings, and sophomore Jaidyn Glathar will all strive to return to the NSAA Class B State Track and Field Championships at Omaha Burke High School in May.
Auburn dropped their only game last week after their March 25 and 26 games against Nebraska City and East Atchison, KS were postponed due to weather conditions. The Bulldog dropped to 2-5 on the season following the loss.
