Eighth Grade Academic Achievements Of Auburn High Class of 2024 Saluted

Friday, Aug. 7, was notable for the 65 students of the Auburn High School (AHS) Class of 2024.

Johnson-Brock Public School students are scheduled to start the 2020- 2021 school year Tuesday, Aug. 18. First day dismissal will be at 1:45 p.m.

The Nemaha County Commissioners reviewed the ongoing coronavirus pandemic Wednesday morning, Aug. 5.

Peru State athletic director Wayne Albury recognized Taylor Finke (Battle Creek) and Isaac Simpson (Papillion) as the Bobcat student-athletes of the month for July.

Aspiring volleyball players from around the region were in the Al Wheeler Activity Center (AWAC) on Peru State’s campus during the last week of July.

Richard Lee Draper, 85, formerly of Nemaha, Nebraska was born on May 3, 1935 in Uma, Colorado to Frank and Edith (Kindel) Draper.
