First National Bank Seniors End 2020 Season Splitting Four Games
The First National Bank Senior American Legion baseball team ended the 2020 season with a 20-6 record.
The Seniors started the week blanking Ashland 7-0 Monday night, July 27. In a rescheduled contest Tuesday night, July 28, First National Bank Seniors reached the 20-win plateau with a 4-1 triumph over Elkhorn Mount Michael Benedictine. It was the final Tushla Field game of the summer.
The season wrapped up with a tournament in Ashland. Thursday night, July 30, the Seniors dropped a 5-inning, 1-9 decision to Norris. Late Friday afternoon, July 31, Auburn lost 0-5 to Waverly. Norris won the 16-team tournament.

First National Bank Seniors scored 1 in the opening inning, adding 4 in the fifth and 2 in the seventh. Auburn doubled Ashland in the hit column, 12 to 6.
Hits: Caleb Fossenbarger 3; Ryne Flynn and Jalen Maher 2 each; and Cole Fossenbarger, Hayden Hall, Josh Lambert, Branden Lavigne and Tye Ommert. Flynn and Caleb Fossenbarger each had a double.
