GARY ALVIN STOVER

Gary Alvin Stoner was born June 15, 1942 in Humboldt, Neb. to Alvin Christian Stover and Doris Eleanor (Williams) Stover. Gary died at his home at St. Petersburg, Fla. on July 24, 1920. Gary was baptized and confirmed at St. John (Stone) Lutheran Church. His early education was at a country school, then Bratton Union Consolidated School. He attended Peru State College where he was active in student activities, their theater program and other school groups. He graduated in 1964 with a degree in education. FRED A. SCHIZAS II

Fred Apostle Schizas II, son of Dean and Beverly (Andelt) Schizas, was born December 12, 1950 in Lincoln, Nebraska. One of four children, Fred spent his early years and attended school in Lincoln. The family moved to Omaha, Nebraska where he graduated from Burke High School. Fred went on to attend the University on Nebraska-Lincoln and earned a degree in mechanical engineering.

MARLIN G. PECK

Marlin Glenn Peck was the first child born to Glenn and Leta (Schulenburg) Peck on March 18, 1934 in Morrill, Kansas. They later moved to the family farm south of Barada were Marlin grew up and became the fourth generation to live on the farm deemed Peckville and work the land. He met his future wife, Lois Kirkendall, in confirmation class at Saint Paul Lutheran Church. They married in 1956 and unto this union were born four children: Patrice, Anita, Lisa and Marlin Jr. (Marti). Lois passed away in 2002. Marlin would talk fondly of her to everyone who would listen referring to her always as “the love of my life”.

LOUISE M. NELSON

LOUISE M. NELSON

Louise Mae Nelson, 98, formerly of Stella, Nebraska was born on June 5, 1921 in Bostwick, Nebraska to Henry and Josephine (Garver) Jacobitz. Louise grew up in Nelson, Nebraska where she received her schooling and graduated from Nelson High School. She was united in marriage to Carl Timmerman and to this union two children, Bill and Mary were born. After Carl’s passing in 1979, Louise was later married to Arthur Nelson. She lived in Stella, Nebraska for many years where she worked as a cook at the school and was a member of the Grace Bible Church. Louise went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 22, 2020, passing away at the Colonial Acres Nursing Home in Humboldt, Nebraska having reached the earthly age of 98 years, nine months and 17 days. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Carl Timmerman and Arthur Nel son, a brother Norman “Bud” (Lillian) Jacobitz and sisters: Helen (Orville) Teselle, Betty (Earl) Adamson and Shirley (Ted) Lyons.
