During the first two weeks of September, growers of small grains around the United States will be contacted by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS).
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Agricultural Statistics Service reported 74 percent of Nebraska farms had access to computers in 2021. The national average is 67 percent.

Governor Pete Ricketts recently joined representatives from Pinpoint Communications for a one-day tour of broadband-served businesses in Southwest Nebraska in an effort to better understand the direct impact of CARES Act funding. By receiving this funding from the Nebraska Department of Economic Development, Pinpoint continued to expand its footprint to serve more overlooked locations in rural Nebraska by providing Fiber-Optic Broadband services up to 10 GB.
