Month of June Averaged Above Normal in Both Temperature and Precipitation Received in Nemaha County

June averaged 2.3 degrees above normal. The maximum was 100 degrees on June 17th, and the minimum 49 on the 1st and 2nd. The last time the area had recorded a triple digit maximum was May 26th of 2018. There were 13 days of 90 degree or higher maximums, while normal is seven

There was 5.75” of precipitation recorded in June, 1.35” above normal. There were six days of measurable precipitation, while normal is nine days. The daily maximum precipitation received was 3.64” on June 24th, the largest daily amount in June since the 3.70” fell on June 15, 1961.
