Joshua Kruzel Hired as Peru State Women’s Basketball Grad Asst.

Peru State women’s basketball head coach Joan Albury recently announced the hiring of Joshua (Josh) Kruzel as a graduate assistant.

Albury stated, “We are excited to bring Josh on board as our graduate assistant. He has four years of experience working in collegiate women’s basketball, as well as a desire to gain more knowledge. Josh will be a huge asset in the development of our junior varsity program and will add to our varsity program as a third coach in practice and on the bench during games.”

From Toledo, Ohio, Kruzel recently graduated from Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati with a bachelor of arts in educational studies. In addition, he has pursued some master’s degree work at Lourdes University in Sylvania, Ohio.

Kruzel has a variety of basketball experiences – both at the collegiate and high school level. Most recently, he served as the varsity assistant at the Maumee Valley Country Day High School in Toledo. His other high school experience was an assistant coach at St. Ursula Academy – also in Toledo.
