Eagles Reach .500 Winning Two of Three First Week in January

The Johnson-Brock Eagles entered the B Division of the MUDECAS basketball tournament at Beatrice with a 5-5 record.
In their initial 2021 action, the Eagles dropped a 29-48 decision to the Lourdes Central Catholic Knights Tuesday night, Jan. 5. Thursday night, Jan. 7, Johnson-Brock routed Pawnee City 67-22. Saturday, Jan. 9, the Eagles took a 49-45 victory at the Weeping Water Indians. Lourdes is 6-4, Pawnee City winless in 10 games and Weeping Water 3-9.
