On Tuesday, August 10, The Nebraska Public Service Commission (PSC), approved an Order (C-5272) issuing the 2021- 2022, Nebraska Broadband Bridge Grant Program schedule and application materials.
Trey Bardsley will teach typing, computer programing, and digital media while also assisting in math interventions for the 2021-2022 school year. He will also be the Striv sponsor for the school as well as assistant boys basketball and soccer coach.
JOSHUA COLE opens the Friday, Aug. 6 Summer Sounds concert with The Eagles’ Take It Easy. He sang a mix of his original songs as well as selections from other performers.
The 4-H Livestock portion of the 2021 Nemaha County Fair will include the option of a modified show and go. It is Sunday through Wednesday, Aug. 15 through 18 on the fairgrounds along Highway 75 in Auburn.
The Nebraska Department of Transportation has announced funds are now available to private non-profit organizations and governmental entities for transportation needs of elderly persons and persons with disabilities for whom mass transportation services are unavailable, insufficient or inappropriate. Eligible applicants include private non-profit organizations incorporated within Nebraska and governmental entities. Governmental entities must certify that there are no non‑profit agencies in the service area readily able to provide the service. Applications will be accepted from qualified entities in the small urban and rural areas of the state.
