Gage County Jury Finds Keadle Guilty of Second-Degree Murder Of Tyler “Ty” Thomas in 2010

A Gage County District Court jury in Beatrice answered a question which people familiar with Peru State College and the Peru community have wondered for years—Would someone ever be convicted in connection with the Dec. 3, 2010 disappearance of PSC student Tyler Thomas? On Feb. 13, 2020 the jury found Joshua Keadle, 38, guilty of second-degree murder of the then 19-year-old college student from Omaha who disappeared over nine years ago never to be seen again after reports had placed her near the Missouri River boat launch area east of Peru.
