Auburn FFA Crowns Three District Champions from Recent Contests

The Auburn FFA Chapter has had a successful last couple of weeks. A number of students will be representing the group at the state convention Wednesday, April 1 through Friday, April 3 at Lincoln.
District Welding, Poultry
Cameron Binder was named district champion in shielded metal arc welding. The welding team placed sixth, only one spot away from making it to state. Austin Youngquist placed 10th. Also on the team were Bret Baltensperger, Ryan Binder, Braden Gerdes, Hunter Koppelman, Kellen Moody and Cameron Shriver. Students must read required welds from a blueprint and complete it. They must also take a written test.
